Godric’s Hollow, the village Harry’s parents were inhabiting when they were murdered, was most likely named for Godric Gryffindor. This is an interesting coincidence. J.K. Rowling has told us that Harry is not a direct descendant of Gryffindor, but what is the significance of this village? Is it still inhabited? Since Hogsmeade is the only remaining all-magical community in Britain, then what happened to Godric’s Hollow?
Harry intends to visit this place in Book 7. What do you think he will find? Is it a dark place that is housing a horcrux? Since it is the last place Voldemort was before he was destroyed, will it provide any answers to questions we’ve all been asking?
